What is our Mission?

Grow Avalon is a nonprofit, resident-driven organization that works to create a diverse, safe, vibrant community focusing on economic development, social services and restoration.

What does Grow Avalon do?

  • Ensure our residents are heard and have a voice within the community.

  • Fundraise and work to beautify and restore our neighborhood.

  • Support our local businesses and help grow our business district.

  • Hold community events, support our borough and its resources.

  • Welcome new residents into the neighborhood.

  • Partner with and support our neighboring communities of Bellevue, Emsworth, Ben Avon and Ben Avon Heights.

Community Events

In addition to supporting Avalon Borough, it’s resources and neighbor’s events, we also hold our own Grow Avalon events within the community.

How do I get involved?

Amplify your voice within the Avalon Community and join your neighbors in helping to make our borough a better place! We hold Grow Avalon meetings once a month that are open to the community. Please join us in celebrating our neighborhood, holding events and putting in the the required work, dedication and support to grow our business district.
