Avalon Park and Community Pool
Established 1930, this is our largest park in the borough and includes a community pool, playground, two shelters that are available for rent and a basketball court. There is ample green space for all kinds of outdoor activities and sports. A beautiful creek runs through the park. Located at 708 New Brighton Road.

N. Birmingham Avenue Tot Lot
Located at 698 N. Birmingham Avenue, this small playground is nestled within the community for your young ones to enjoy.

S. Birmingham Avenue Tot Lot
Located at 201 S. Birmingham Avenue, this small playground is nestled within the community for your young ones to enjoy.

California Avenue Park
Located next to the Avalon Elementary School at 721 California Avenue, this park includes an updated playground, small shelter, hockey rink and a large lot sits behind the school, available for outdoor activities.
Stone Soup Community Garden
Located at the corner of Hemlock Street and South Chestnut Avenue, our community garden is a certified wildlife habitat! Come and enjoy the butterflies. birds and all the beautiful fruits, vegetables and flowers grown by Avalon residents.
AVALON POOL
Located in Avalon Park, the pool is a short walk from Main Street with ample parking available. Depths from one to 11 feet accommodate all swimming levels with two slides and a baby pool! 25 meter lap lanes are available for use in the center of the pool and life guards are always on duty.

Shelter Rentals
Hold your next party or event at Avalon Park! Nestled in a valley, our shelters provide a scenic and private place to host your guests. A $50 deposit is required, Malt Beverage Permit is available and shelter costs are as little as $200.
